Resistance Burning Skies Release Date Announced
In 2 days the First Edition Launch Vita will be available to those who paid the extra money to get it a week early. Today the Playstation Blog hosted a Vita Livestream to celebrate the pre-launch. During the event, Sony announced a release date for the new installment of the Resistance franchise, specifically for the PS Vita: Resistance: Burning Skies.
It’s currently slated for a North American release on May 29th, 2012. Like the PSP version, Insomniac, the creators of the Resistance franchise, didn’t develop the game. Nihilistic’s studio did the honors.
Resistance: Burning Skies was written by author William C. Deitz (he wrote 2 Resistance based novels). It features a new lead character, Tom Riley, a Fire Fighter from New York City. Take on the Chimera with a Fire Axe and the pride of New York’s finest heroes.\
